Before asking a question, PLEASE check the Known Issues and Frequently Asked Questions sections below. Also read/refer to the built in User Guide (at the bottom of the Settings screen). Chances are your question is answered already! 🙂
Known Issues – version 5.0.1
5.0 was released on 23rd September 2016, to upgrade the DoBIH and improve/simplify the backup process. This was quickly followed by 5.0.1 on 30th September 2016 to fix a bug introduced in version 5.0. Sorry about that!
Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Android – I have no plans to support Android. PLEASE don’t ask for Android app recommendations as I am the least qualified person to help!
Opening backup files on a computer or from Dropbox – backup files are not designed to be opened by anything other than the app itself. If you want to look at your data on a computer, you can export it in CSV format from the List screens using the icon at the bottom right.
iCloud vs iCloud Drive – from iOS 9 onwards it looks like Apple have deprecated support for the old iCloud in favour of iCloud Drive (just like they did in Yosemite on the Mac). If you get an error message about not being able to access iCloud, you probably need to upgrade to iCloud Drive. Unfortunately this requires iOS 8 or above, which means the iPhone 4 is becoming difficult to support moving forwards. It will be dropped soon.
