About

I have been an independent iOS and Mac developer since I got my first iPhone in 2008. All of my apps were written because I wanted to do things on my own device(s) that I was previously doing in spreadsheets or by other means.

I started with Hill Lists to track my own round of Munros, closely followed by Meter Readings to monitor my home energy usage and spending. Finally
Account Tracker to help track my finances across multiple accounts.

Account Tracker has been ported to the Mac, and there is a more basic version (ATB Viewer) that lets you view (but not edit!) your iOS backup files and data on the bigger screen of your Mac.

Account Tracker and Meter Readings were also ported to the Windows Phone platform, but these are no longer supported.

Outside of work …

I am a keen hill walker/hiker, (fell) runner, occasional orienteer and rock climber. I completed my Munros on Sgurr Fiona (An Teallach) in November 2014.

Currently working my way through the Corbetts, Grahams, Donalds and Wainwrights
