Meter Readings 2.6.1 now available

January 13, 2011

Improvements to the UI.

Improved the CSV export and import features.

Relaxed the restriction where you couldn’t add new rates if they came into effect in the future.

Made the user guide more accessible in the settings screen, and also added a link to take users to my known issues (support) page. Also added documentation for iTunes file sharing.

Minor bug fixes.

Sorry, I have used the search on your website to see how I export my data to cvs but I don’t see it listed anywhere. (I have found the import.) I see you have made mentioned that it is available in this build but I don’t see it on my device… I’m able to make backups and I’m able to connect the device via the mini web server but all I see is .bak files. Please help. My version says Help and Support (v3.3) and this is a paid version that includes support for Dropbox and iCloud.

    Thank you!

Hi Chuck, ordinarily I’d say look at the main app page (https://grahamhaley.co.uk/meters/) and see what screen the functionality you want is on. Had you done so you’d see it mentioned on the Readings and Bills screen. However I don’t mention the word CSV, just a note about exporting readings by email. I will fix that now!

Actually, now that I have the Readings page open , I see the paper / pen icon and then CSV export.

Sorry, must be when you search on your pages it doesn’t include the words in the ‘More Information …’ Cause there the CVS export was.

I thought, also, I would find CSV export on the Import / Export / Backup page and spent most of my time trying all those options.

        Thanks for the ‘quick’ help!

Hi Chuck, the backups screen wouldn’t know what you wanted to export, which is why it’s on the readings screen.
