Printing support

October 21, 2012

As part of version 3.8.4, I added the ability to print PDF reports straight from your iOS device to an AirPrint-enabled printer. Once a PDF file has been generated, simply tap the button at the top right of the screen and select Print.

See http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356 for more details on AirPrint. Also its worth mentioning that it is possible to get this working with a non-AirPrint printer. I managed that using some 3rd party Mac software called handyPrint.

Let me know how you get on!

It would be very convenient if it were possible to email the reports in PDF format. Users of PCs with other kinds of printers attached would then be able to print out the reports. I am also aware that users who receive their emails on an iOS device such as iPad or iPhone would be able to print to any non-AirPrint enabled printer by using one of the Apps that puts email into any printer queue even on a remote printer provided that printer and the computer it’s attached to are switched on.

Hi Richard, you have always been able to email PDF reports (since last December when I introduced them). That was the only way to get them off your device.
